 Off-season Outlook

The Ravens could really use an upgrade at CB, but they are picking near the end of round one and there is no one there of value. They should then look to get Flacco some more targets; a WR like Arrelious Benn or Damian Williams or TE Jermaine Gresham would be a fine pick.

Team Needs:  CB, WR, TE

Potential picks:

1st round, pick # 25-32

Arrelious Benn            WR    Illinois

Golden Tate                 WR    Notre Dame

Jermaine Gresham        TE     Oklahoma

  1. Ravens just traded and got Anquan Boldin but i still think they’ll try for someone like shipley or Jacoby Ford if they fall to the 5th and i honestly see the Ravens going Jermaine Gresham then a pass rusher like Corey Wootten or Perrish Cox in the 2nd. But if Dez Bryant falls to No.25 ravens will take him. BUT! I dont see him getting past the bengals at No.21.
    Get it done Ozzie!

  2. I see our priority list a little differently:

We have no TE behind Heap. That needs to be addressed this year.

Our Center, Old Man Time, is playing on borrowed time, and can’t get any traction in the running game.

A DE would be nice. WR is the obvious need. CB depth would help if we get hit by the injury bug again.

    Go get it done, Ozzie!

Real Potential Round 1 Picks (no offense):

    1. Jermaine Gresham
    2. Jared Odrick
    3. Brian Price
    4. Kareem Jackson
    5. Kyle Wilson

Chris Carr is not the Ravens starting corner, it’ll be Lardarius Webb. Also Dannell Ellerbe started over Gooden all last season and will probably continue to. We dont really need an upgrade at corner, our pass defense was ranked 8th last year, we just need depth there. Desperately need a receiver tho Tate and Benn are reaches in round 1 so wont happen.

  5. Lardarius Webb or Fabian Washington would be starting over Carr this year

  6. I like the site, but the Ravens need a pass rusher first then a wide reciever second. If we can get a Tight End that would be good too.
