I will update the overall rankings soon and Thomas could be moving up but the difference is due to the fact that Bryant produced in a balanced offense running a variety of routes. Thomas played in the option offense, so we don’t know how good his route tree looks and what his exact speed is (due to the broken foot). However in terms of speed, both look just fine on film (4.4 range) so basically the polish of Bryant is the main reason.
1Love the cutups and the mock…but why do you have Dez Bryant so high and Demaryious Thomas so low? Thomas has a great combo of size and speed to go with his hands and his big body. Both are great and I appreciate your response.
2Can you expand on that statement without repeatedly using the word “potential”? His film, his stats, and the fact that he has only played 1 year of division 1 ball do not equal a top 5 prospect in my opinion.
